Live to Learn... Learn to Live
Marhilda Association is the non-profit private organization that provides scholarships to Horizons University Online promising applicants. It was created to support talented students who seek to advance their education but live in remote areas of the world and do not have access to schools because of lack of funds and preferred majors. Every year Marhilda selects a number of students on two criteria: financial need and potential academic success. All funds distributed to students come from donations.
Welcome to Marhilda
Marhilda Association’s goal is to support the educational goals of Horizons University and its partners. In doing so, it aims to:

• Promote higher education in the international context;
• Give an opportunity to learn to those who have limited funds.

In supporting an institute focused at providing education both in campus and online, there cease to be barriers to education for students across the globe, enforcing cultural diversity and resulting in a whole new level of interaction between students.

The new Second Life campus developed by Horizons University, has enabled students to sit in on live presentations given by key-note speakers, together with completing entire course modules exclusively online.
Marhilda Association currently owns a campus located at less than 100 miles from Paris in La Roche, near the city of Gien.

The campus benefits from the exceptional Loire Valley environment, a protected UNESCO site classed as a world heritage site.

Marhilda’s Financial Resources originate as gifts, dues and enrollment fees from four distinct sources:

• Individuals
• Companies
• Alumni
• Horizons University Students
